Work Shop in Iceland
In October 2021 participants in the I-PIC project met for a four day work-shop in Iceland. The workshop took place in Laugarvatn, a charming small town in the Southern part of Iceland. The aim of the work shop was to bring together teachers and researchers in order to develop and share ideas concerning visual and participatory methods with culturally diverse groups of students. All participants worked on visual activities that included taking, analyzing and sharing their own photographs, interrogating different spaces with a photographic expedition and discussing the meaning of inclusion and belonging in different contexts. The results of the work was shared visually on a padlet-page and as a framework of action for teachers to implement visual and participatory pedagogies with their students.
